Private Investor Acquires Ten Percent

PMI Ventures Ltd. (the "Company") [TSX Venture: PMV], announces that Arlyn James Miller of Denver, Colorado, acquired 3,000 common shares of the Company on December 13, 2005 through the facilities of the TSX Venture Exchange at $0.125 per share. As a result of the acquisition, Mr. Miller now owns and controls 3,594,500 common shares representing 10.0% of the issued and outstanding shares of the Company.
The Company controls 464 sq. km. of gold concessions along historically defined gold belts in Ghana, West Africa. These concessions cover areas with extensive artisanal mining, defined gold in soil geochemical anomalies, significant drill intersections, and most recently, identification of many first class geophysical (IP) defined drill targets.
